Chillicothe Fix It!

The City has partnered with CivicPlus® to provide a tool that empowers residents to report quality-of-life issues and request government services.

Tool Description

Chillicothe Fix It! allows residents who notice city repair or service needs to submit photos, location information, and details directly to Chillicothe city staff. The platform provides Chillicothe officials with a centralized system to manage issues from creation to resolution — engaging residents throughout the process.

In addition to allowing the public to report on problems, users can view, comment on, and follow issues submitted by their neighbors. Residents can even create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all the reports in their community, enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests— not just the ones they submit.

The software also enables duplicate detection so that if a resident begins to submit a request already in the system, it will promptly notify them and enable them to follow the existing request.

As a resident you will be able to submit an issue in the app by first setting up your account and start reporting!

In order to submit reports the app will request details such as location of the issue, photos (if applicable), and further details of what has happened.

Once you've submitted a request, it will be automatically forwarded to the correct city personnel to handle the matter.

You will have the option of following any developments on the issue you reported or others in-app by hitting the "Follow" button.

Once an issue is reported its status will be "Open". After the correct personnel is made aware of the issue, its status will be "Acknowledged". After an issue is resolved, the status will be labelled as "Closed".
