Historic Tours
From "Chillicothe Trolley"
Go to the project

Chillicothe has a rich history, and there aren't many better ways to take it in than by a ride on the trolley. Let us know in the comments when you think tours should be, what they should include, and where they should go.

@Tomiah Conley , @Sarah Cox , @JULIE PIERCE Do you have any suggestions for when (day of the week/time of day) the tours should take place? Do you have any suggestions for themed tours?

@Aaron Kennedy I love the Ghost Tour around Halloween.. I think Christmas tours would be really beautiful (serve hot chocolate, etc). I picture seasonal tours each with a theme to go along with them. Spring, summer, fall... I think the theme can set the time of day... but Saturday/Sunday morning/afternoons seem to work well for a lot of people. Maybe like a historical breakfast at a location that then moves along to other locations. Or around Thanksgiving there could be a traveling dinner that takes place with the trolley as the transportation across town. Probably more suggestions than you wanted! :)

St. Augustine, FL and Ashville, NC have amazing historic trolley tours. I would love to see something like this in Chillicothe.

I love this idea especially at specific times, but I'd still want to be able to utilize the trolley for transportation as well.

I LOVE this idea. Great for visitors and for those who have lived here their entire lives, but still may not know the rich history of our town.
