I have been a Chillicothe farmers market vendor for 15 years. I also attend four farmers markets in Columbus during the summer months. I’m very excited about the possibility of us moving into the park and having a permanent location, sheltered from the weather. The plans revealed tonight at the Armory show a very beautiful park and the changes look wonderful. I am hoping for some consideration regarding vendor parking. Ideally, we would back into our stall spaces and unload directly into our booths and leave our cars parked there during the market. If that is not possible, at a minimum, we would need several safe places to unload and a designated area for the vendors to park. It would also be of upmost importance for our shoppers to have the closest parking.
