A need for affordable and quality housing to purchase and rent has been identified. This idea would prioritize solutions to increase affordable housing stock in the city. Ideas may included development of vacant land to encourage developers or partnering with agencies like Habitat for Humanity and Sojourners to provide a road to homeownership. Other ideas to explore include action steps identified in the recent Housing Study completed in Fall 2021 (attached below).
